Kenyan Tribe

Kenyan Tribe

The tribe that is Kenyan,
Kenya prides and smiles for Kenyan,
Kenyan is selflessness and limitless,
The tribe that is Kenyan, embraces, accommodates,
Children, women, elderly and tender in unison,
Universality, dependence of the Kenyan tribe,
East, West, North and South, Kenya in union,
It is the tribe that is Kenyan by Kenyans.

The tribe that is Kenyan is diverse,
Speaking diverse, mean not tribal,
It is Kenyan tribe in diversity,
Speaking diverse identifies Kenya,
Forty two dialects, forty two delicacies,
Dining in diversity is the intricacy,
Barbeque sharing, Nyama Choma reins intimacy,
It is the tribe that is Kenyan by Kenyans.

The tribe that is Kenyan is exotic,
A unique culture enriched by unique people,
The mighty Kenyan has heritage mantle,
A mantle that shines, and world stares,
Culture, Wildlife, Art and Sports it dares,
The Kenyan spirit entices and endears,
It is a testimony, the price is alimony,
It is the tribe that is Kenyan by Kenyans.

The tribe that is Kenyan, I’m a member,
I pride myself and defend my being member,
Committing thee to making a number,
Promoter of unity of the Kenyan tribe,
A brother’s keeper, responsible home keeper,
Deterrent of violence, home wreckers,
Home wreckers to rid of, by justice, our defender,
It is I a member of the Kenyan tribe by Kenyans.

The Contest

THE CONTEST

Atmosphere in this sphere,
Voices of reason lacking anywhere,
A tale of predator, prey,
Yellow, green, blue, red and Grey,
Colors portraying political might,
Political rivalry at its height.

Electorate crying and praying,
Politicians stalking and preying,
The former aims for dawn,
The latter maims and yawns,
Gluttonously for highest bid,
False promises the electorates forbid.

Heroism was the first true independence,
Liberation was second independence,
First, came own dependence,
Exit the British, enter a Republic,
Second liberation modeled by public,
A constitution propagates another Republic.

The electorate impressed by promulgator,
Rife is thirst and hunger for implementor,
Parade of political hyenas lacking threshold,
Votes at stake for suited to behold,
As electorate seek a new dawn,
Contestants prowl for votes to win.

A common enemy is within
Herd of hyenas uniting and droolin'
United in common to devour
Common is their origin
Origin is their tribe, sore and sour
Tribe is the enemy within

{A political conquest during electioneering}

Neigh's His Time

NEIGH'S HIS TIME

Ten is a good number
Seven is good too, a number
Two are God's numbers too
Seventy seven times seven
Sabbath is week's seven
Lord's appointed time for six in number

Two thousand and twelve
June ten of millennium’s twelfth
The roar of a revving engine on standby
Six patriots get on board to travel by
A mission under-way for six in number
Lord's appointed mission for the number

The magnificent navigator navigates
Overhead thickets in cloud's thickness
Amid chats and laughter of patrons
Patrons of internal security and patrols
Cometh the unforeseen sour hour
Lord's appointed hour for six in number

Silence creeps in suddenly
The engine of the beast slumbers
Amidst cries of panic the beast hovers
Awed subjects stare devastatingly,
A thunderous tumble into the forest lumber
Lord's appointed time for six in number

Cloud of grief engulfs and mood sombre'
The country bleeds and mourns
Families rue while pain scours
Heroes, heroine, patriots, fallen are curtains
Flags fly half mast o’er honours
Cometh was Lord's appointed adjourns

Aye thee that hath departed
Thou shall forever be imparted
E’er thy Lord we put forth
Minister, Assistant minister and fourth
Them their souls preserve eternally
Neigh cometh thy appointed mortality.

Africa

Africa.

Black is golden,
My identity, I begotten,
My people beholden, they belong.
I’m ‘charcoal-ate’, I hear ‘em say,
That I’m colored, I wonder what color,
But, you too are white in color,
I’m Africa and black, I’m colorful.

Whispers, out and about continents,
I heard ‘em say, dark continent,
It wasn’t a complement.
Oh! Doomed! It’s what’s dark, they mean,
It dawns, all, and I see mean,
Then why reap of me, the doomed, minnows,
I’m Africa, proud of dark, beauty of black.

I’m a mother, the cradle of mankind,
How un-African to insult own mother,
I’m wealthy than none, I pride myself,
Exploited and ripped nude, enriching thyself,
Then I hear ‘em say third world, awe!
Illegitimately, ‘em are first world, awe!
I’m Africa and my other name, first world, legit!

I’m Africa and He that adorns is heavenly,
I die not now, not ever, I’m heavenly,
I toil not in vain,
I see forth a reward, in horizon, via a vein,
It trickles of my existence, defying villains,
Heavenly, the last shall lead the way,
I’m Africa and I’m heavenly ordained anyway.
